Reprise, the full-service global performance media marketing unit of IPG Mediabrands, has made two key appointments to its leadership team in the Asia Pacific region. Karen Soo has been appointed to the position of head of Reprise Singapore, and Ritika Gupta to the newly created position of e-commerce director Reprise APAC.

Soo (pictured) has more than 12 year industry experience across multiple agencies including Starcom, Mindshare, ZenithOptimedia and most recently OMD where she led the Singapore digital offering for more than five years.

David Haddad, CEO IPG Mediabrands Singapore commented, “Reprise Singapore has grown notably in size, capability and strength in the last year. Soo’s appointment as the head of Reprise Singapore, is reflective of that momentum. We now have a highly regarded client focused leader backed by a team of passionate digital experts across search, social, content, technology, performance and user experience.”

Haddad continues, “The team and IPG Mediabrands Singapore are very excited to welcome an industry professional of Karen’s caliber and experience into the family, and the Reprise team look forward to working closely with her to further strengthen the Reprise client experience.”

Soo added, “The digital and media landscape is changing faster than ever before. I’m very excited to be part of the Reprise team to make a difference in this evolving space!”. Soo will report into Haddad, and her appointment is effective immediately.

With a decade of industry experience across India and Singapore providing customised marketing and campaign solutions for brands, specialising in e-commerce brand management and affiliate marketing; Ritika Gupta joins Reprise from her prior role of head of marketing solutions and business operations for Lazada Singapore.

In her new role as e-commerce director Reprise APAC, Gupta will spearhead the development of the Reprise e-Commerce product and practice in Asia Pacific, with a focus on strategy, consulting, experience design and performance.
