Pinterest has released a new update, which includes an interesting new feature being called, “Showcase.” This feature will allow all visitors who take the time to interact with any business profile to see specific visuals that were manually selected to show off the brand. This showcase feature will allow as many as five boards to be highlighted by the brands, as well as Buyable Pins,

Brands will also be able to make custom options for seasonal offers and products. The new system will be configurable on the web interface only, though it is visible to visitors from either the web or mobile versions of the site.

While this is a fairly small new feature in the overall scheme of things, it does give brands additional flexibility and options to display specific information to visitors. This can help to improve conversion rates, which is very important when using visual platforms like Pinterest for any type of marketing.

Anyone who uses Pinterest for marketing should look into how Showcases can help them to improve their effectiveness. You can learn more about this new feature by reading the official announcement from Pinterest HERE.
