Adobe announced a new AI called Sensei. Sensei is a “framework and set of intelligent services” that will be incorporated in its Creative, Marketing and Document Clouds. EVP and CTO of Adobe, Abhay Parasnis says “Sensei, ‘master’ or ‘teacher’ in Japanese, is the perfect term to describe the deep expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and deep learning we have built into our platform.”
Adobe’s Marketing Cloud’s Device Co-op, along with the Cloud’s Anomaly Detection which identifies campaign inconsistencies and provides options to remedy those inconsistencies, already has Sensei implemented.
A few of the many features in the Marketing Cloud that are made possible by Sensei include an addition of Smart Tags to Experience manger, which allows for automatic image tagging. Adobe Campaign now has the ability to recommend the best subject lines that will improve email open rates by using Predictive Subject Lines. Automated Insights for digital ads will be able to suggest which direction you should direct your advertising focus, for instance, focus more on social ads rather than search ads.
To the Document Cloud, Sensei brings the capability to identify differences and similarities in different documents. Sensei also bring the ability of natural language processing and semantic structure analysis for documents(ability to differentiate between different types of formatting, image vs. paragraph).
Sensei brings to the Creative Cloud the option of visual searching such as a “find images like this” feature. Editing a person’s facial feature in an image and being able to convert spoken dialogue into an animation of moving lips are also features of the new Sensei AI.
Sensei isn’t just another AI to add to Adobe’s portfolio. Sensei will be able to combine the other AI services Adobe already has implemented, and make them available to the other three Adobe clouds(Document, Creative, and Marketing), proving that Adobe is continually searching for ways to improve its services.
