Seems like the Better Business Bureau for affiliates. We’ve had some legal issues come up that we eventual overcame in a few states. Most of it was because they thought that our volume was way to much and that we were taking business from the little guys.
That’s a pretty powerful headline, and Rebecca Madigan was accurately quoted – she said “76,000 affiliate businesses”. I feel that perhaps she is overusing the word business. The majority of affiliates are inactive, and majority of affiliates never generate enough commission to get their first check. The real number of affiliate “businesses” that have been affected would certainly be well south of 10,000.
Is pretty bad that so many businesses had broken down.
