Internet Brands announced yesterday at ForumCon that it was exclusively going with content monetization company VigLink for its new release vBulletin 5 because as Internet Brands CTO Joe Rosenblum puts it “VigLink monetizes better than the competition, they are less intrusive than the competition, it is a better experience for users and the person buying our software as well.” Until now Skimlinks has been the preferred partner for vBulletin, this is quite a turn around for Internet Brands.
Watch our Interview with Oliver Roup, the CEO of VigLink

viglink is just another of the million useless start-ups in the bay area, using up its funding on huge salaries and remaining profitless. VCs are talking about this start-up bubble bursting, and viglink is going to go as soon as they run out of their ill-spent funding
Thanks for the interview!! I have heard some great reviews about the vBulletin 5 but honestly I am yet to hear or read whats been said about the new pricing plans. As far as the earlier versions of vBullietin were concerned, they were far better than it competitors..
I am hoping that this version will be even better feature wise and cheaper price wise

I think this was a good move by vBulletin. You should always consider the user first.
Lets see how this goes with the bloggers? Personally I appreciate it as monetizing blogs to earn residual income is my final goal.
