Two Weeks: $250,000 Facebook Revenue

Dru Mundorff has made in the last two weeks over $250,000 from Facebook. As the creator of LilyJade, a new browser application for Facebook, he’s created what could be the most effective Facebook campaign ever made. He claims that LilyJade is a way for Facebook users to assert control over their experience and eventually, as he grows the application, other social networking sites.
Unfortunately for him, Facebook thinks what he is doing is illegal.
Facebook considers LilyJade nothing more than a Trojan that is spread through viral scripts that spread themselves via Facebook – in this case, promising that users can view a linked video.
“Plugins such as LilyJade are configured to modify our [site] to inject ads and/or send spam through Facebook to the victim’s friends via wall posts and chat messages,” Fred Wolens, public policy manager at Facebook, told Brian Krebs in a statement. “These alterations materially change people’s Facebook experience and bypass Facebook’s quality and security controls.”
Mundorff thinks he is doing nothing wrong, and despite selling the script at $1k a pop and being used to basically hijack users, he thinks what he is doing is providing Facebook users a service.

There has been a lot of viruses and flaws in the security system on facebook lately, and that is really making me concerned. I hope they are doing something about that.

I wouldn’t blame facebook though but they should have reviewed the app before it was accepted. There has been lotta spams these days though.

Apparently it is illegal to inject ads on a page by domain name or other trademark. If you use keywords or names of elements from pages, it is ok.
Facebook will kill anything that gives users power over things that they shouldn’t have.
You’ll make 100K per week with Facebook as an affiliate. 250K is a great number and I’m sure it has been done.

If it is indeed a worm – and one can modify peoples newsfeeds without their consent – then I’m not realy that surprised that FB have pulled the plug. Still 250K in two weeks is pretty good going, do you think he’ll get to keep the revenue though?
Fb cant do anything cuz its not illegal nor is it a worm the users have to accept it before it installs and it doesnt post anything it just changes the ads from the ones fb post to the ones hes paid for posting!! FB is just pissed they cant do anything about it so their calling it a virus or worm or what ever they want so ppl wont install it
Hello, I am Dru Mundorff
Aka CodeCompiler owner of Lilyjade,
First off our system is not a worm. It is a Extension. Secondly our terms of service is small.. It stats in clear code we will do updates as share post on the users wall.. This is NO different then when you “Like” a page on facebook. Except that there is a cap so you can’t send more then 1 message a day with our system.
Lastly our system does have ways to make money with it. That are completely non intrusive. Its not that we are trying to hurt anyone but help people.
Our system has blocked over 4 million bad sites in the world from having access to your computer which does install malware.
Stops users from getting there kids to porn sites and much more along with updating to adding a botnet killer. So people can’t steal your credit cards and so forth. Thus 1 step more secure then antivirus companies.
So before you slap people in the face when 8/10 Virus’s come from Facebook maybe you should step back and say. If this was a virus why would the owner openly put himself out there like that. Now will there be bad people trying to make money with this system? Yes.. But I can’t control what people on there end do. I can merely remove the access if I get any reports of mis-use.
So if you find something that looks like it might be something of mis-use please email me mmocode@gmail.com I will happily look into it.
Sincerely,
Dru Mundorff
